Here Jesus after His resurrection, need to return to breathe His Spirit on them and gave them the authority to forgive and retain the sins of any. Something very significant happened here.

Having receive the Holy Spirit is like a leash of new life. Fresh heavenly (blue) life, like the sparkling and bubbling water seen in this vision. No longer the same old same old nothingness. There is a hope and a new vibrancy in your walk.

The bible says only God can forgive sin. When the Holy Spirit (God) indeed dwells in you ONLY then can you forgive sin. We are never complete without this God component.

Gen 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

Men without this breathe (Holy Spirit) of God, , is like a zombie. Death walking. An incomplete being. Fit only for the rubbish bin.

Now therefore RECIEVE, do not resist the Holy Spirit.
